Professional liability insurance–"errors and omissions" insurance–might be a good idea. That covers you in case you forget to do something or fail to inform your customer about something or provide misinformation that results in financial loss or injury. I recommend it.

It depends what your business represents. If you’re representing the product far beyond what it can do/protect, etc., you might need it. If you’re going along the party line and not advising any usage above and beyond the manufacturer’s printed documentation, you should be fine. Just don’t be a sleazy sales person, and you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
