I’m in the trade. you are right you are not cover if you hurt someone or damage his property.

Answer 1 seems correct you are not covered if you cause damage to person or property. Regarding company to choose I would recommend Columbus especially for longer trips 28 days + Higher amounts of cover than many others plus optional covers. Avoid travel agents like the plague poor cvover and over priced. Use a broker or deal directly with an insurer. Regarding refererring in your question is that a spelling mistake or a freudian slip.
