How much does general liability insurance cost for a handyman that is the sole owner and employee of his own business? Whats good amount to get? (coverage)
Well, depending on the type of work you do (no roofing or painting, etc) it’s probably going to run you about $750 a year. You might as well get $1,000,000 of coverage – I bet there’s no price difference between $100,000 and a million.

You will have to check with an insurance agent to two in your own state. Prices vary by state. Not all insurance companies are approved by all states. Each independent agent will have a group of insurance companies that he/she can write for – An Allstate agent will only write Allstate insurance so for a wider choice try an independent agent. The rates will depend on your income.
